Cab Driver, Gangster, Dog, and His Wives (1997)
A Mad Political and Social Comedy
Cab Driver, Gangster, Dog, and His Wives presents two scenes on the same stage, unfolding a story of a Taiwanese cab driver with two wives. He tries to hide his secret of dual marriage. But when the politics kick in, his personal life gets interrupted and eventually he has a breakdown when the dog appears...
Cab Driver, Gangster, Dog, and His Wives breaks a world record - the first staged production available for the blind. This used to be regarded as the impossible, but through the navigation system developed by Tamkang University, the blind is able to sense the scenery, the facial emotions, body language, and costume style of the actors.
